James A. Rhodes

As four term governor of Ohio James Rhodes provided years of leadership and service to the growth of our state and community. During his career he established over 20 technical and community colleges in Ohio increased the state park system to 71 facilities and highlighted the states agricultural heritage by promoting the state fair into the countries best.

Born in Coalton, Ohio Mr. Rhodes was known for his commitment to his family, raising three children who resided in Upper Arlington for thirty years. He should be remembered for his promotion of Ohio and his positive effect on the citizens of his state.
