THE NEWEST ADDITION TO MILLER PARK

Thanks to all who participated in our May 7th dedication celebration at Miller Park!

This carriage step is an original historic artifact from the Miller farm. A large portion of this farmland was purchased by King & Ben Thompson in 1913 in order to develop Upper Arlington. Learn more about the step, the Miller family, and the pavers that frame the step from the permanent display sign at Miller Park.

What a Gem of a morning!

Over 25 members of the Upper Arlington Historical Society and their guests enjoyed a special presentation from Dick Argo on Saturday, January 28th, in the Argo & Lehne Jewelers showroom, at 3100 Tremont Road. Dick recalled the history of Argo & Lehne in the Columbus area, his involvement in the business, and overall trends in jewelry over the years.

Thanks to Michelle Berger and Jane Jentgen for coordinating this free-of-charge event for members. See this blog for more details about the event and Argo & Lehne's history.
